Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation DLC Includes Buffy, Romero And More

We all knew that a new zombie mode would be coming with Call of Duty: Black Ops new DLC, Escalation, but did you know that you could play as Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Below is a video that is just pure awesomeness, for anyone who loves zombies in general. George A. Romero, the godfather of all that is zombie in this world, will make an appearance as himself, who seems to be a mega enemy similar to the scientist in the level "Five". The playable characters this time around are all different, featuring heroes of horror: Danny Trejo, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooker and Robert Englund. They all seem to have specific melee kills and weapons too. This trailer oozes grindhouse cinema, from the cheesy voice over and sound effects, to the grainy video bubbling onscreen. It's absolutely brilliant and goes to show how much love Activision and Treyarch have for zombies by providing gamers with fresh new takes on a mode that initially was just an afterthought. They really deserve credit for catering to such a large fan base successfully time and time again, but this time they finally hit the jackpot. The new mode is a homage to Romero, even being aptly named "Call of the Dead". The trailer needs to be watched for all the little details that will enhance your excitement beyond measure (catapult anyone?). Seriously, I don't know about you, but what's better? Winning an Academy Award as an actor or being a playable character in a game that millions of people play countless hours of?
