We’re just days away from the release of deadmau5‘s eighth studio album W:/2016Album and anticipation couldn’t be higher. Fans have waited two years for a new record from the Canadian producer, and while low quality audio rips of every song from the upcoming LP have already surfaced, we’re definitely ready for the mastered version to arrive.
Never one to sit still, deadmau5 has started teasing a major announcement which is slated to arrive tomorrow. Taking to Instagram, the musician shared a video that seems to hint at a new performance setup or tour. Set to the backdrop of “Let Go,” the video shows off the signature cube stage before abruptly cutting out. The description merely states that he is “unveiling something new,” so it’s anybody’s guess as to what the mau5 is up to for now.
Naturally, news of a major deadmau5 announcement has us excited, especially so close to the drop date for his new album. What it is remains to be seen, but as soon as we find out we’ll be sure to let you know.
