From the looks of things, the Evil Academy could be the most uniquely interesting school around. It’s full of creative homeroom classes, monsters and turn-based battles. Of course, we must not forget the outrageous stacking ability and its fellow skills. Now, if only real life school was that colourful.

By now, you’re probably wondering where I’m going with this. That is if you’re not familiar with a certain strategy series which happens to love the term ‘dood’. You see; that happens to be the featured location in Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention – a springtime release for the PlayStation Vita from the folks at NIS America. A revamp of a previously released PS3 game, the handheld title will continue its series’ penchant for bringing creativity to its thought-inducing genre.

Take a look at the game’s latest trailer below, and experience its unique quirks for yourself. Using a lighthearted approach, the promotional video takes an in-depth look at Absence of Detention‘s unique features.

Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention is currently scheduled for an April release.
