It has already been confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will take place in a time period that is completely different from other entries in the series. This time around, the story will play out in the not-too-far-off year of 2025, and will make use of slightly more futuristic weapons and technology.
To coincide with this, Activision has made a documentary-style trailer that, instead of focusing on the game itself, details the rapidly evolving weapons technology of today and the dangers they could bring to society in the future.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is currently scheduled for release on November 13, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. We will keep you updated on the game as more news develops.
