gamegearesrb ESRB Rates Game Gear Games For 3DS

Based on recent ESRB ratings, it seems as if specific games from SEGA‘s heavy (and energy draining) Game Gear handheld will be given new life on the Nintendo 3DS.

Tiny Cartridge discovered that both Shinobi and Sonic’s Triple Trouble have been officially rated by the aforementioned software regulations board. What that means is that their ports should soon become available on the 3DS’ e-Shop. Considering that both games were a heck of a lot of fun back in the 1990s, it’s nice to see them back in the forefront.

Can you really believe it’s been twenty-one years since the technologically advanced device was released? Back then, SEGA and Nintendo were enemies. Oh, how times have changed.
