Creepy, dark and wholly intriguing, the clip takes us into the futuristic theme park that the show revolves around, giving us a look at some of the horrors that await. It’s hard to make out exactly what’s going on beneath the surface here, but the footage teases a sinister series, one that will also dive into some thought provoking questions about artificial intelligence.

Whether or not Westworld has the potential to be another Game of Thrones type juggernaut for the network remains to be seen. To be honest, it’s probably not going to be quite as big as that show, as few things ever will be, but it’s sure to be an exciting new addition to HBO’s roster and one that we’ll definitely be tuning in to.

Starring Ed Harris, Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Jeffrey Wright and Clifton Collins Jr., among others, Westworld will be with us at some point in the fall.
