The newest batch of Max Payne 3 DLC, Disorganized Crime, is coming next Tuesday, Aug. 28th. Best of all, it’s free.

The pack includes the Hoboken Rooftops multiplayer map, letting players wreak havoc over Max’s New Jersey apartment complex. There’s also new modifiers for score attack mode, allowing for Headshot Modifiers, more aggressive enemy AI, and a headshots-only contest.

Finally, there’s “Noir Mode”, allowing you to play the entirety of Max Payne 3‘s single-player story in film noir-inspired black and white (though this could also be easily done by changing your TV’s color settings).

There’s been a noticeable rising trend in games coming out with free DLC to support their multiplayer offerings, such as the recent DLC for Mass Effect 3 and the free co-op DLC that was released for Spec Ops: The Line yesterday. Disorganized Crime is just another example of this and it’s a trend that I hope continues.

Disorganized Crime hits PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 28th.
