Gran Turismo 5 Getting Spec 2.0 Update, DLC Next Month

Recommended Videos

Gran Turismo 5 released last November with high praise and a quenched racing simulation thirst from the millions of gamers that have been awaiting its release for years. However, with almost a year behind the game, we’ve not seen a single piece of DLC for the already massive game. Polyphony Digital aims to change that in October.

Speaking on a tweet, CEO of Polyphony Kaz Yamauchi announced that a Spec 2.0 update will be hitting the game during the third week of October, with DLC to arrive a week later.

Kaz of course did not elaborate what the update or DLC entails, (Twitter only allows 140 characters afterall) but we’ll let you know if anything comes up.

Would it be too far out of line to think that this update comes as a response to the release of Forza Motorsport 4 on October 11?
