Irrational Has Revealed Its BioShock Infinite Ultimate Songbird Edition

It's been revealed that BioShock Infinite will receive the collector's edition treatment not once, but twice, giving the series' numerous fans some retail choice. First up is the Ultimate Songbird Edition, which will come with a statue among other things, and will retail for a crisp $149.99. However, if spending that much money on one game is too rich for your blood, you can opt for the regular version or the next step up, which is referred to as the Premium Edition. That one will come with a suggested price of $79.99, with the catch being that it doesn't include the impressive-looking statue that its peer prominently boasts.

It’s been revealed that BioShock Infinite will receive the collector’s edition treatment not once, but twice, giving the series’ numerous fans some retail choice. First up is the Ultimate Songbird Edition, which will come with a statue among other things, and will retail for a crisp $149.99. However, if spending that much money on one game is too rich for your blood, you can opt for the regular version or the next step up, which is referred to as the Premium Edition. That one will come with a suggested price of $79.99, with the catch being that it doesn’t include the impressive-looking statue that its peer prominently boasts.

Below, you’ll find a list of all of the swag that the BioShock Infinite Ultimate Songbird Edition will include. All of the items are displayed in this article’s featured image, and are highlighted with great detail on the game’s website.

  • Packaging inspired by the period in which the game takes place
  • A 25 millimeter, resin-cast Handyman board game figurine
  • A Murder of Crows keychain
  • A 5×7 lithograph print
  • An art book
  • Exclusive in-game gear
  • A digital soundtrack

Going further, it’s also worth noting that each version of the set will offer an exclusive perk. While the Xbox 360 variant will include Avatar costumes, the PS3 and PC iterations will include themes. All three are currently available for pre-order within North America, though our European and Australian friends will have to wait three days before they’ll be able to put a deposit down on these neat, but expensive, sets.

BioShock Infinite is scheduled for release on February 26, 2013.
