Jersey Shore Season 4 Headed To Italy!

Today MTV confirmed what had been internet speculation for a while now. Jersey Shore is heading to Italy for season 4. “The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can’t wait to see what erupts as a result,” Chris Linn, Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production for MTV said in a statement. He went onto say "while the stateside ‘Jersey Shore’ locales have become iconic for our audience it’s really the constantly evolving dynamic amongst the cast that keeps them coming back each season."

He went onto say “while the stateside ‘Jersey Shore’ locales have become iconic for our audience it’s really the constantly evolving dynamic amongst the cast that keeps them coming back each season.”

Production is set to begin sometime around May and all signs point to season 4 arriving sometime near the end of August. This isn’t confirmed yet but either way, season 4 isn’t too far off.

This is pretty big news and I’m really happy with it. This is exactly what the show needs. While I still love watching it, the show has gotten a bit repetitive lately and it really needs a change. I think taking things to Italy could be just what Jersey Shore needs to return it to its former glory. It will mix things up a bit and Italy could provide for some great material. I can’t wait to see how this turns out.
