pacman sfxt Mega Man, Pac Man Confirmed For Street Fighter X Tekken (For PS3 And Vita)Well, we kinda knew this was gonna happen, but we haven’t gotten confirmation until today. It was teased at the end of the last character reveal trailer, but Capcom‘s and Namco‘s oldest mascots are making their way to the fight in Street Fighter X Tekken.

Both Mega Man and Pac-Man will join the roster in the upcoming crossover fighting game, but only on Sony devices. Meaning if you want these characters, you better own a PS3 or PS Vita, or you’re outta luck.

Pac-Man joins the fray riding some kind of wooden robot….thing, and Mega Man shows up in his hilariously bad Mega Man 1 boxart form. If there was ever any hint that Capcom really hates Mega Man, it’s this.

But wait! We’ve got a trailer for you too:

I’m not sure what to say, other than it looks like I’m now on the Sony side of things when this game comes out on March 6.

What say you, gamers? Are any of you Mega Man fans angry over this? I’d be insulted.

You’re looking into Mega Man all the wrong ways here.  Look closer at him.  That man is old and rotund.  His costume shows wear from continuous thrashings through the years and he wears each bit of damage like a small medal.  This is a man who everyone would say has sprinted past his prime.  But look deeper into those eyes.  Look at that fire burning deep within him.  Sure, he may epitomize a failure in looks, but none of that comes with irony.  That is the man putting out himself in the most genuine way he can.  And while this is commendable in it’s own rights, he simply doesn’t care.  See, Mega Man doesn’t have to impress you and I.  He doesn’t need the glitz and glam that comes with the spotlight.  This is simply a man, a Mega Man, who is here with one simple goal in mind. To get the job done, no matter the cost.
