A booth schedule sent out by Twitch TV has revealed that EA will be showing off Need For Speed: Most Wanted at the fast approaching E3 event. Showcasing  alongside Battlefield 3‘s latest DLC  a certain amount of prominence appears to have been afforded to the title, so one would expect many more details to be revealed from behind the tire smoke soon.

Last seen in 2005, this revival of the ‘Most Wanted’ part of the series follows previous speculation on the titles return as well as confirmation earlier this month that a new Need for Speed game would be released in the third fiscal quarter of 2013. This news is therefore not entirely unexpected, but as the first definitive confirmation of Need for Speed: Most Wanted‘s return it is more than enough to ensure that fans of the series will be revving their E3 engines far past the point of excitement.
