New Details On Tomb Raider Emerge
Earlier this week, Square Enix announced a Tomb Raider reboot, being developed by Crystal Dynamics. Not many details were known at the time but now we do have some more information. Firstly, it should be clarified that the game will be a reboot not only of the franchise, but of the entire brand. It will also feature an open world, which will give players lots of options for exploration.
As Lara Croft, you’ll be able to upgrade your exploratory abilities, find new equipment and gain survival tools. As you can probably tell, the game will focus very heavily on survival and Lara will have to make sure she has enough food and water to stay alive. Traps and violent inhabitants will stand in Lara’s way as she fights for her survival.
I think that’s about it for now but it sounds interesting. I’ve never been a big Tomb Raider fan but we’ll have to see how this one shapes up. Maybe I’ll check it out. For now though, I’ll keep an eye on it and wait until we get some more information.
