NHL 13 Will Feature Improved Goaltender Realism

Tying in to its most recent screenshot release for the game, EA Sports has unveiled a new trailer for NHL 13 that focuses on every hockey team's last line of defence: its goaltender. Mixing visceral gameplay action with overlays listing the position's new anticipation mechanics, free limb movement and improved user control, it's sure to make goaltending gurus happy.

Over the course of this generation, the series’ digital tenders have improved quite a bit, so it’ll be interesting to see how much more realism these changes will add to each match.

NHL 13 will be released in North America on September 11, 2012. It will feature Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux as its selected cover athlete.
