You Got Some Payday: The Heist In My Left 4 Dead

When Payday: The Heist was first announced, the collective train of thought was something along the lines of: “It’s Left 4 Dead, but without zombies and with more bank robberies.” The two games have been impossible to separate entirely based on the fact that they share the four person first-person co-op experience against seemingly impossible odds. Rather than trying to combat it anymore, Valve has teamed up with Overkill Software, in order to make an official crossover.

Game director Ulf Andersson stated that;

“We are excited to be able to confirm that an in-depth collaboration between OVERKILL and Valve is currently in production. We are working on a very cool blend of PAYDAY and Left 4 Dead.”

I’m not sure what to expect here, but the idea of trying to rob a bank only to find a boomer locked inside of the vault seems pretty awesome in my book.
