When the Nintendo 3DS was showcased, one of its most impressive-looking titles was certainly Resident Evil Revelations. It still retains that crown, as many of us eagerly await the game’s outbreak on February 7, 2012.

In Resident Evil Revelations, players must work alongside the Federal Bioterrorism Commission, in order to discover the truth surrounding a bio-terrorism attack on the floating city of Terragrigia.

Today, Capcom released a brand new story trailer for their dingy survival horror title, which certainly won’t skimp on guns, monsters and action. It provides eager gamers with a glimpse at the game’s premise. Though, those who haven’t followed the series’ plot with a fine-toothed comb, may want to do some research before or after watching this video. It’s mildly confusing.

It would have been nice if the trailer’s run-time was extended briefly, in order to stretch out its included game play segments. However, that isn’t the case.

Let us know what you make of the brief trailer, as well as the one rather unique male character that is featured prominently within.

You can also check out the Capcom Unity Blog, for news regarding which characters will be playable in the game’s Raid mode. It pits players (and a friend) into a challenge scenario, where they must attack enemies in order to earn weapon upgrades. So far, several have been announced, including Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield and Quint Ketchum.
