A Polish retailer has reportedly sent out an image of the unannounced PS3 Super Slim ahead of the system’s speculated reveal at the Tokyo Game Show later this week.

According to the video game website Polygamia, the image (pictured above) of the latest PlayStation 3 revision was supposedly included in a recent Media Expert promotional newsletter. Unfortunately, the online version of the same newsletter does not contain the image, so there is no way to verify if the picture of the printed newsletter is legitimate.

The report also mentions that the PS3 Super Slim will come in two versions when it launches across Europe on September 27th. The basic SKU has 12GB of flash and costs 199 Euros, and the 500GB version will run 299 Euros (presumably this is not 500GB of flash, but instead an actual hard drive).

The reference to multiple SKUs seems to back up previous rumors about the redesigned PlayStation 3, that claimed it would launch in 16GB, 250GB, and 500GB versions.

While we can’t verify the retailer’s newsletter, there is little doubt left at this point that the PS3 Super Slim exists. Both the FCC and the Brazilian Agency of Telecommunications have posted images of the console, and the latest rumbling is that Sony will announce it later this week when TGS kicks off on Thursday.

We will keep an eye out for any news from TGS, and let you know as soon as Sony announces the PS3 Super Slim.
