Bits of code pulled from the Skyrim 1.8 beta update reportedly contain references hinting that the next DLC for the game will be called Dragonborn, a term that Zenimax trademarked last February.
The information about the 1.8 beta update comes from users on Bethesda’s forums who dug through the code and pulled out several references to the unannounced Dragonborn DLC. If the reports are correct, the add-on will take place on the island of Solstheim, add new types of armor, and give the player the ability to have a dragon mount.
Bethesda has not confirmed the Dragonborn downloadable content, so this should be considered a rumor until something official is announced. The only thing we can say with almost 100% certainty at this point is that this is yet another Skyrim DLC package that will never be released for the PlayStation 3.
