Take two. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was originally set to release March 20th, but sadly those hopes were dashed against the rocks a while ago. Luckily for all of us waiting to get our snipe on, we now have a new release date set for August 21st for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Developer City Interactive claimed that the delay was to allow for a better marketing cycle, and a bit more polish from the developers; however, I have to wonder if the release of Sniper Elite V2 next week may have played a role in the delay.
May the snipe hunt begin!
