Stjepan Sejic Now Slated To Draw Suicide Squad #20 - And It's Looking Awesome

Although we may not always be happy when personnel changes are made to the creative teams working on comic books because we often look forward to seeing the writer or artist originally solicited, there are instances when we can’t help but get excited when a change brings aboard an incredible talent. Such is the case with Suicide Squad #20.

Gone will be the originally advertised Eduard Petrovich and Eber Ferreira, but in their place will be none other than Stjepan Sejic. Yes, the very same artist who’ll soon be making Aquaman one of the most visually impressive books on racks will also get the opportunity to put their stamp on Task Force X.

Some things, however, will stand, such as Otto Schmidt’s cover (seen at the top), which allows the comic book Harley Quinn to look more Margot Robbie-like than ever before. And since Rob Williams is staying on as writer, the originally advertised plot remains. So, if you weren’t already aware of what to expect, here’s the official synopsis:

“FALSE FLAG” part one! Task Force X needs a new team leader, and the pickings are slim: a cannibalistic crocodile-man, a schizophrenic witch-demon, a one-armed assassin, a lady who talks to her sword and a racist drunkard. But there’s also the homicidal clown-girl who, devastated by the loss of her crush, returns to a dark and violent path from which there can be no escape…

Getting back to the subject of interiors, a trio of Tweets can be found below, posted by both Sejic and Williams. So, until Suicide Squad #20 arrives in comic shops on June 28, you have these handsome images to help tide you over.
