Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack Opening Cutscene

It's a shame that one person's terrible error in judgement can lead to unfortunate circumstances for so many. That always seems to be the case in popular fiction, whether it's been created on paper, celluloid or a computer. DrinkBox Studios' PlayStation Vita launch title, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, is a prime example of this as its opening cinematic shows. Within its stylized designs, one human's poorly thought out action ends up leading to another blob-based attack on a digital representation of our beautiful planet.

About Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack

Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is a side-scrolling puzzle platformer about an ornery mutant blob that, after being held captive in a lab that can only be described as something out of a retro sci-fi movie from the early ’50’s, escapes into the world and sets out to eat its way to freedom. Mutant Blobs Attack contains a wide range of exciting features and gameplay modes designed specifically for the PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system.

In celebration of the release of Mutant Blobs Attack, DrinkBox Studios has also revealed that they have created a new premium bundle for the game’s PlayStation®3 system predecessor, Tales from Space: About a Blob: Players can now download a new bundle pack with About a Blob and bunch of DLC for just $9.99, and the standalone game for just $7.99.

“Wait, now that I think about it…can blobs actually sweat, or even cry for that matter? Sounds like DrinkBox Studios will need to conduct yet another experiment in the name of SCIENCE!”
