Take A Tour Of The Battlefield 3 Frostbite 2 Engine And Its Karkand Map

A new behind the scenes video for Battlefield 3 has been released by PWNED, detailing the use of the Frostbite 2 engine and one of the game's maps, Back to Karkland. Shown below, the video also takes you back to Battlefield 2's Strike at Karkand, chatting with its lead designer Niklas Fegreaus and map designer David Spinnier.

Lead weapons designer at DICE, Alan Kertz also gives fans some insight on the Physical Warfare Pack, while the creative director (Lars Gustavsson) takes them on a tour of the series’ design history, which is quite interesting.

EA will be showing Battlefield 3 at next month’s E3. It will be available for the PC, 360 and PS3 this fall.
