Anchor Bay’s upcoming Blu-Ray release of Hijacked is just around the corner (July 31st to be exact) and today we have for you the official trailer, plus a brand new clip!
The trailer kicks things off in spectacular fashion, with the daring plot introduced to our comatose characters, played so gracefully by Randy Couture, Vinnie Jones and Dominic Purcell.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen a movie with such an absorbent amount of talent muster out such a smelly trailer. I’m not sure if it was the sets that look cutout from a giant piece of cardboard or the mentioning of Holt McCallany from Fight Club, but something just doesn’t sit right.

Special Agent Ross’ (Couture) plans to reconcile with his ex-fiancé are ruined when she boards a private jet that is targeted by hijackers working for the same crime lord that he is chasing. With no time to inform his team, Ross wriggles his way aboard the aircraft and risks it all to save the love of his life. HIJACKED is an adrenaline-fueled action-packed film that puts the fear back in flying!
This second video is a clip titled “Shootout”, but there really isn’t any shooting until the last few seconds. When the shooting does kick in you’ll realize that the budget must have been spent on the casting, because the CGI blood is worse than something you could whip up in Microsoft Paint and the muzzle flashes seem to be digitally rendered as well. Is there nothing sacred in the action genre anymore?
