Ghost Hunter To Disparate From SyFy Show

Grant Wilson, who founded The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) with show co-investigator Jason Hawes nearly twenty years ago, will depart the series this year. The two Rhode Island plumbers created Ghost Hunters for SyFy (then The Sci-Fi Network) in 2004. The show has created two spin-offs and has long been the premier paranormal investigation series on television.

CW Continues Casting For Arrow Pilot

The CW has been busy casting the rest of its lineup for the pilot of Arrow. Already confirmed for the series, Stephen Amell, who will be playing the lead Green Arrow aka Oliver Queen. You may remember Amell from a brief stint on The Vampire Diaries in late 2011, and he is not alone in his noticeable CW connection.

Gavin O’Connor Directing The Americans For FX

Gavin O’Connor has been tapped to direct the Cold War drama pilot The Americans for FX. O’Connor is responsible for bringing us Warrior, the surprisingly epic tale of a teacher who moonlights as a Mixed Martial Arts fighter. The project banked on the recent string of fighting based movies including The Fighter and while it didn’t do as well as the studio had hoped, it’s a cult classic in the making and has attracted quite a bit of attention.

House Will End After Season 8

A joint statement from House creator David Shore, producer Katie Jacobs, and star Hugh Laurie let fans know that Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital will be closing its door at the end of the current season.

Stephen Amell Is CW’s Green Arrow

If you’re unfamiliar with Stephen Amell, don’t feel too bad. Amell only recently surfaced as an actor making his way toward the top. He played Brady, a werewolf out for revenge, on The Vampire Diaries season 3, the despised Joran van der Sloot in the bio-pic Justice for Natalee Holloway, a prostitute on Hung, and has a recurring role as a paramedic in Private Practice. In a short time, Amell has went from unknown Canadian actor to potential super hunk.
