Ubisoft And Techland Will Unleash Mad Riders At The End Of This Month

The smell of exhaust is in the air, and you're just one extreme jump away from a first place finish. That may not be a realistic situation for most of us amateur-at-best off-road drivers, but that doesn't mean we can't dream of becoming a trick-loving showman.

The smell of exhaust is in the air, and you’re just one extreme jump away from a first place finish. That may not be a realistic situation for most of us amateur-at-best off-road drivers, but that doesn’t mean we can’t dream of becoming a trick-loving showman.

Thankfully, Ubisoft‘s publishing team is in agreement, and will unleash Techland‘s Mad Riders on to PC, XBLA and PSN at the end of this month, allowing us gamers to digitally experience the extreme situations many of us fearful daredevils have only ever dreamed about.

Mad Riders, developed by Techland, will see players perform amazing aerial stunts and race on over 45 stunning tracks from all over the world at breathtaking speeds. To gain the edge on the competition, players will have to use their boost skills wisely and take advantage of hidden shortcuts on the tracks. For players who want to take the experience online, Mad Riders has extensive competitive features and leaderboards that allow players to test their skill against the rest of the world. Thanks to an intuitive drop-in system, players can compete in three exciting multiplayer modes playable with up to 12 players.

Fans of the genre may recognize the developer’s name, especially if they’ve played Nail’d. Mad Riders seems like a spiritual successor to that high-flying ATV racing title.

If you’re interested in purchasing this adrenaline-fueled downloadable racer, note that it will cost 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99. Its PSN debut will occur on May 29, with XBLA and PC (digital download) versions releasing on the following day.
