After experiencing some fairly significant technical issues last week, Sony has now announced that the new PlayStation Store is up and running in the UK and across Europe.

The initial problems with the revamped PlayStation Store roll out (which included things like; pages not loading, PlayStation Plus members not being recognized, failure to download purchases, and the inability to add funds) have apparently been completely solved at this point. Sony Europe revealed the good news on their Twitter account, saying “The new PlayStation Store is now live in all EU territories”.

The new PlayStation Store was originally scheduled to launch in North America tomorrow (October 23rd), but was delayed last Friday. SCEA has not yet announced a new release date.
