The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 as Aaron Rodgers was named the games MVP. Scoring came from all over in this one as Rodgers threw for 3 TDs as well as the Packers defense getting a pick 6. Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger rallied the team back from 21-3 to 21-17 earlier in the game however the deficit was far too great to overcome succumbing late in the 4th quarter.
For the Green Bay Packers organization this was a huge step forward as they usher in the post Brett Favre era with a Super Bowl ring.
