Randy Moss Looks Like The Old Randy Moss

Yes, you read that right. Randy Moss the 35 year old former Pro Bowl wide receiver is working out with the notion of coming back to the NFL, and in his initial workout he’s looking like the Randy of old. Not like an ‘old’ Randy, but like a Randy Moss that will be a contributor for some team in 2012.

So far the only confirmed suitor is the mired in controversy New Orleans Saints, who took a look at him today. Moss is as dynamic of a receiver that there’s ever been in the NFL, and the thought of him playing in that offense with Drew Brees is something defense’s would rather not see.

FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer tweeted about the workout;

From what I gather all parties were pretty floored by his workout. Probably didn’t expect him to perform the way he did

hearing from multiple sources re Randy Moss workout today he lit it up. Was told he ran about 45 routes and “looked like the old Randy.”

If Moss looks as good as advertised, the Saints will soon have some competition. Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that 2 other teams have visits planed for next week.
