Now that the networks have released their TV schedules for next fall, there are some very interesting time slot showdowns. According to Entertainment Weekly, one of the biggest fall TV showdowns is on Sundays between CBS' The Good Wife and ABC's Desperate Housewives. The Good Wife has performed well in its Tuesday time slot and has averaged nearly 12 million viewers. By moving to Sundays, the show will have a lead in from NFL Football which the network is hoping will boost their ratings. Desperate Housewives has been a ratings success since its debut in 2004. However, the aging drama will be heading into its eighth season in the fall and has recently had a steady decline in ratings.
