Set Photos Tease Arrowverse Crossover Wedding Surprise

We recently learned that this year's four-way Arrowverse crossover would be "Crisis On Earth-X", featuring the heroes of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl uniting to take on their evil doppelgangers from Earth-X. The news about the crossover also confirmed that Barry Allen and Iris West would finally tie the knot during the event. A new set photo, however, reveals that another couple could be getting hitched at the same time.

A snap from Canadagraphs seems to depict a double wedding ceremony for Barry and Iris… and Oliver and Felicity! The Tweet confirms that this photo was taken during filming for the Legends of Tomorrow episode of the crossover, which will wrap up the storyline.

Those of you who’ve been keeping up to date with Arrow rumours may have already heard that Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak were heading down the aisle, as the gossip has been doing the rounds on Twitter recently. David Ramsay was also quoted as saying John Diggle would officiate a wedding ceremony in the crossover.

It looks like Barry and Iris will attempt to have a proper wedding in the opening episode before their special day is interrupted by enemies from another Earth. Once everything’s sorted out at the end of the four installments, though, they’ll say their vows in a more casual setting. Presumably, Ollie and Felicity will have had some big romantic realization over the course of the crossover and will decide to get married at the same time, too.

Regardless of what happens in terms of the action, the “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover is clearly going to be a big deal for Arrow and The Flash in terms of the characters’ storylines. The fact that we’ve got also Nazi doppelgangers and a new superhero in The Ray to look forward to is just the icing on the (wedding) cake.

“WestAllen” and “Olicity” shippers will have their dreams come true when the Arrowverse crossover airs on the week beginning November 27th.
