If the footage given in the new trailer is any indication of what’s to come, it looks like we may be granted insight into the scope of Prometheus’ diabolical scheme. In addition to that, we’re hoping for an unmasking because this seems like as good of a time as any to do so – unless, of course, the producers feel like keeping us in suspense for another few months.

A few weeks back, we the viewers became privy to Artemis’ treachery and it becomes quite obvious from the promo that Oliver Queen himself is in for a rude awakening. Sure, she may think she’s pulling a clever double cross, but can anyone rule out the possibility of Prometheus putting an arrow in her before the credits roll? You never can trust a supervillain, especially those of the big picture variety.

For more details, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

After Prometheus attacks Curtis (Echo Kellum), Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes Prometheus knows all of Team Arrow’s secret identities and is planning to come for them one by one. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) discover a clue that links Prometheus to Oliver’s past. Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Beth Schwartz.

Arrow airs on Wednesday nights on The CW.
