New Big Belly Burger Promo May Be The Funniest Thing DC TV Has Ever Produced

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe may have Nick Fury, one can't argue with DC TV's tasty connecting thread, that being Big Belly Burger. Ever since Arrow season 1, we've seen our favorite heroes kick up their heels while enjoying some delicious looking meals from the fictitious fast food joint. And despite the restaurant not existing in our universe, that hasn't stopped The CW from putting together one hilarious ad for it.

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe may have Nick Fury, one can’t argue with DC TV‘s tasty connecting thread, that being Big Belly Burger. And despite the restaurant not existing in our universe, that hasn’t stopped The CW from putting together one hilarious ad for it.

Having said that, we must tip our cowls to whomever sat down to watch every season of Arrow and The Flash just to pick out all the best scenes and relevant bits of dialogue pertaining to Big Belly Burger to include in this reel. Actually, my personal favorite line is one that they partially left out, that being Wild Dog’s excitement to tear into a “five stack,” but at least they got him saying “now, that’s what I’m talking about.” Really, if any made-up establishment should be mentioned in the same breath as Uncle Moe’s Family Feedbag, it’s most assuredly this one.

With the next major Arrowverse crossover, “Crisis on Earth-X,” looming, one can only assume that more burgers are to be consumed before long. In fact, one would be hard pressed to think of a better way for Oliver Queen, Barry Allen and the rest of the gang to plot against their evil doppelgangers than with tummies full of beef – but let’s just hope they wait an hour before swimming.

The new season of DC TV kicks off on Monday, October 9 with the premiere of Supergirl.
