Black Siren And Citizen Cold Return In New Images From The Flash

The thing about shocking moments is that you never know when they'll arrive. In the case of The Flash, one of season 4's biggest surprises came this week when Clifford DeVoe overtook Ralph Dibny AKA the Elongated Man as his new host, thus making him more powerful than ever - and using those morphing abilities so the Thinker can finally be played by Neil Sandilands again. Face it, pretty much everyone who kept the seat warm for him paled in comparison.

So, as we wait to see how the saga continues to unfold next week with “Fury Rogue,” we have two other favorites to welcome back to Central City, those being Citizen Cold and – get this – Black Siren. Now, we already knew that Earth-X’s Leo Snart would be stopping by for a short stay, but the femme fatale comes as a shock because we had no hint that she’d be involved until the below gallery was released.

On the one hand, we have to wonder how her guest shot makes sense because Black Siren’s been occupied by being the most ambiguous and duplicitous person to take up residence in Star City as of late. But on the other, one could call this a homecoming of sorts.

If you’ll recall, it was The Flash‘s second season that actually introduced us to Earth-2’s Laurel Lance, not long after her do-gooder doppelganger bit the dust over on Arrow. Being a product of Zoom’s full-scale invasion at that time, it should be interesting to see what her motivation is for taking a break from Ricardo Diaz’s game and making her return to the Scarlet Speedster’s home court.
