The CW has released the first official images from the next episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and while it’s been quite some time since Brandon Routh played Superman, he’s looking a lot like Clark Kent in the gallery above. However, he’s not back to being the Man of Steel; instead, Ray Palmer is just getting used to some new surroundings.

Titled “Left Behind,” here’s the official synopsis for this episode of Legends of Tomorrow:

Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Kendra (Ciara Renée) are shocked after they watch the Waverider fly off without them, leaving them stranded in the ‘50s. After waiting months for their teammates to come back, the three realize they must move on with their lives. Ray and Kendra bond as a couple but Sara decides to return to the League of Assassins and Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable). John Showalter directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Grainne Godfree.

The concept of some of the team being left behind and having to start new lives is definitely an intriguing one, but it definitely looks like the return of Ra’s al Ghul is going to end up being a highlight in this episode. The villain somewhat underwhelmed in season three of Arrow, so learning more about him may just help redeem the villain to at least some extent.

Legends of Tomorrow returns to The CW next week.
