Cisco Finally Suits Up As Vibe In These New Images From Next Week’s Episode Of The Flash

When H.R. Wells arrived from Earth-19, it was quickly established that he had something to hide. It didn't end up being anything too sinister though, as we discovered that he was an author rather than a scientist, but next week's episode of The Flash looks set to see him answer for his crimes.

When H.R. Wells arrived from Earth-19, it was quickly established that he had something to hide. It didn’t end up being anything too sinister though, as we discovered that he was an author rather than a scientist, but next week’s episode of The Flash looks set to see him answer for his crimes.

As it turns out, interdimensional travel is not allowed on his Earth, hence why Gypsy comes looking for him. A metahuman with similar powers to Cisco, it’s already been confirmed that romance may be on the cards for those two characters, but the biggest moment in next week’s The Flash will come when he finally gets to suit up as Vibe.

For more on what to expect from “Dead of Alive,” here’s the official synopsis courtesy of The CW:

H.R.’s (Tom Cavanagh) past catches up with him when a bounty hunter with vibe powers named Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) arrives in Central City to bring him back to Earth-19 to stand trial for his crime. It turns out inter-dimensional travel is illegal on their Earth. H.R. surrenders but when Barry (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) find out that H.R.’s only hope would be to challenge Gypsy to a fight to the death, they intercede and Cisco offers to fight Gypsy instead. Harry Jierjian directed the episode with story by Benjamin Raab and Deric A. Hughes and teleplay by Zack Stentz.

Chances are this episode of The Flash won’t move the overarching Savitar storyline much further along, but it should still be a fun outing as there’s a lot we don’t know about H.R. and we’re excited to learn more.

As well as teasing the battle between Vibe and Gypsy, the gallery above also sees Kid-Flash racing into action and Barry attempting to do all he can to help his new mentor out. That’s something which was evident in the promo for the episode, and it should be interesting to see how it all unfolds when The Flash races back onto The CW next week.
