Following that new batch of images from the second episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s third season, Marvel and ABC have now released a clip from the premiere which puts the focus squarely on the Inhumans.
It appears to pick up almost immediately after the first clip (which you can watch by clicking here), as we see Quake talking to a new Inhuman struggling to understand what’s happening to them after discovering their newfound abilities.
In the premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – titled “Laws of Nature” – when Coulson and the team discover a new Inhuman, S.H.I.E.L.D. comes face to face with another organization searching for powered people. And still reeling from Simmons’ dramatic disappearance, Fitz goes to extreme lengths to try to learn how to get her back.
The first two seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were a little hit and miss, but with superpowers taking centre stage this year as the Secret Warriors are assembled, things are looking up for the ABC series. There’s no way Marvel missed what a hit The Flash was last year, and with this show often struggling in the ratings, the introduction of a new team of heroes could really help to turn things around.
We’ll have to wait and see, but will find out for sure when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns to ABC on September 29th.
