CW Boss Teases Zari-Centric Legends Of Tomorrow Episode

From the start, Legends of Tomorrow set itself apart from the rest of the Arrowverse pack by being a true ensemble show - and there was also the time travel element, of course. From the start, Legends of Tomorrow set itself apart from the rest of the Arrowverse pack by being a true ensemble show – and there was also the time travel element, of course. But, as the series endures, its lineup has gradually seen its share of changes, not unlike any heavy metal band that’s been around for a number of years.

To be more specific, the current season has seen the exits of both Victor Garber’s Martin Stein and Franz Drameh’s Jeffferson Jackson – both halves of Firestorm – thus leaving a considerable void. And while John Constantine and Citizen Cold will be around for the short term, the Waverider is in desperate need of more permanent fixtures.

So, while wait to to see if Kid Flash will be among the new recruits, it’s important we not forget about the vital addition that’s been Zari Tomaz (Tala Ashe). Since her introduction, this totem bearer has made a considerable impact, hacking history and confirming that Themyscira exists in the Arrowverse in one fell swoop.

But in order for viewers to better bond with Zari, she’s obviously going to need her share of screentime. And, luckily enough, we should be seeing a lot more of her before long.

In a recent chat with Black Girl Nerds, The CW President Mark Pedowitz casually said he “just saw a Legends episode with Tala Ashe,” but what followed gives us more to look forward to:

“She literally has an episode that she just basically carries by herself, which was fantastic and funny.”

Considering that the production schedule probably isn’t too far ahead, we likely shouldn’t have to wait long to see whatever he was talking about once Legends of Tomorrow returns with new episodes on Monday, February 12.
