We’ve seen a lot of photos from the set of The Defenders, but the full team hasn’t assembled in a single one of them. Matt Murdock has spent some time with Jessica Jones and Luke Cage has been reunited with Claire Temple, but the group of street level superheroes haven’t gotten together in front of the paparazzi yet.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t exactly change today, as a new set video shows off only three of the four main characters, as we see Charlie Cox’s Man Without Fear finally suited up as Daredevil alongside Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Misty Knight (Simone Missick), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick).
What are The Defenders up to? Well, it appears as if they’re breaking into a building and what’s being shot here is them walking through it before stopping to have a conversation. When and where this factors into the series is impossible to say, especially as we’ve yet to see a single bit of footage from the spinoff series and this doesn’t reveal all that much, but we’ll take what we can get at this point.
Besides, it’s nice to get a look at Daredevil finally suited up in The Defenders, though we obviously can’t tell whether or not his costume has undergone any changes. Admittedly, it did look a lot better during the second season of his show on Netflix, but many fans are hoping it’ll finally get the classic “DD” logo here.
