It looks like Batman and Superman won’t be squaring off with Daredevil after all. Despite reports earlier this week that stated the second season of the hit Netflix drama will premiere on the same day Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits cinemas, the video above confirms that it’s actually going to arrive on March 18th.
While we don’t get much new footage in this initial teaser, as it mostly recaps the first season of Daredevil (a good way of tempting fans into going back and re-watching the show), it does end with a huge hint about the impending arrival of The Punisher.
[zergpaid]Played by The Walking Dead alum Jon Bernthal, it definitely appears as if the violent vigilante is going to be The Man Without Fear’s main foe this year, something which should lead to an interesting new dynamic after last year’s big bad, Wilson Fisk. Will they eventually put their differences aside and become allies? If that hail of bullets is any indication, probably not.
As an added bonus, we also have a new poster for the series featuring the many characters from season one. After there any clues here about what’s to come when Daredevil returns? It’s hard to say, but there’s that skull logo again.
