The all-powerful, deliciously evil Wilson Fisk is once again bound for Hell’s Kitchen, but those holding out for a warm homecoming needn’t get their hopes up.
With New York City now playing host to Daredevil season 3, curious passers-by and budding photographers are beginning to relay the first photos straight from the Big Apple. Earlier today, for instance, we brought you two images depicting the inevitable return of Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), who was last seen in the company of Frank Castle – the haunted U.S. Marine better known to you, I and New York’s finest as The Punisher.
One photo, in particular, captured Woll’s no-nonsense reporter standing outside a luxurious hotel, and we now have a better understanding of the context of said scene – at least, we think we do. Included below are two all-new set photos from Daredevil season 3 (along with the two from earlier) with one showcasing a group of hooded extras protesting against Wilson Fisk. As you’ll see, one cast member is wielding a picket which reads, “lock Fisk up!”
Chances are Vincent D’Onofrio’s scenery-chewing baddie is about to face trial in Daredevil season 3, which could, in turn, open up a path toward the mayor’s office. Yes, as comic book readers will know, Kingpin originally assumed that mantle soon after his original clash with Matt Murdock (AKA The Man Without Fear), so the above photo could indicate that Wilson Fisk is prepped and ready to launch a career in politics – even after all his unspeakable atrocities.
