Arrow returned to The CW earlier this week, but the network is already looking ahead at what’s to come for Oliver Queen. In the thirteenth episode of season four, it sounds like the focus is going to shift from whatever Damien Darhk has planned to the League of Assassins, as fan-favourite character Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) finally makes her return.

For further details, here’s the synopsis in full for the episode, which is titled “Sins of the Father” (that has to be a reference to Ra’s al Ghul, right?).

NYSSA MAKES OLIVER AN OFFER – Oliver (Stephen Amell) receives an offer from Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) that is hard to refuse. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) continues to battle the blood lust, Malcolm (John Barrowman) steps in to help his daughter, and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has a heart to heart talk with Nyssa. Gordon Verheul directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Keto Shimizu.

While this synopsis is pretty vague, it appears as if we should expect to see Nyssa attempting to convince the Green Arrow to help her take over the League from Malcolm Merlyn. Whether or not he should really trust her is another matter, but regardless, this instalment of Arrow sounds like a fun episode in a season which has so far done a great job making up for last year’s underwhelming effort.
