First Look Images And Description For The Season 1 Finale Of Supergirl

CBS has released the first official images from the season finale of Supergirl along with a description which sheds some light on what we should expect. CBS has released the first official images from the season finale of Supergirl along with a description which sheds some light on what we should expect.

At just twenty episodes, the series has had a shorter run than the likes of Arrow and The Flash, but don’t fret too much about that, as it’s thought that Supergirl will almost certainly return for a second season (it just hasn’t been confirmed).

Regardless, here’s the description for the episode, which is titled “Better Angels”:

Supergirl is forced to do battle with an unexpected foe and must risk everything – including her life – to prevent Non and Indigo from destroying every person on the planet, on the first season finale of SUPERGIRL, Monday, April 18 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

If the show has let itself down in any respect this year, it’s with its big bad, something the DC Comics adaptations mentioned above haven’t really suffered from. As a result, it will be interesting to see how things pan out in the finale as well as whether or not it delivers a satisfying resolution to an overarching story which has been overshadowed by some much better one off episodes.

Still, that recent crossover with The Flash proved that Supergirl has the potential to be something really special, so it should be well worth keeping an eye on the finale and seeing where the show can go from here.
