First spotted by Screen Rant, Cusick is purportedly one of three new additions to the fold – the other two being Michael Buie (Grey’s Anatomy) and Tanya Clarke (Banshee) – with Cusick credited as Dr. Evan Declan. He’s one of the few entirely original characters written for Marvel’s Inhumans series, and will seemingly feature in six of the show’s eight episodes. As for Buie and Clarke, they’re attached to play the parents of Black Bolt and Maximus, the warring siblings who threaten to cause an upheaval for the people of Attilan. Expect to see Buie and Clarke embody King Agon and Queen Rynda, respectively.

Word is that Inhumans recently wrapped filming on its final episode, so it shouldn’t be too long before we have that first full trailer for your viewing pleasure. Granted, if you’ve been keeping up with the show’s production cycle, and therefore clocked eyes on the scores of leaked screenshots, there likely won’t be much new footage to peruse, but Marvel’s eight-part series has us intrigued nonetheless. Providing IMDb’s listing holds true, Henry Ian Cusick, Michael Buie, and Tanya Clarke will be rubbing shoulders with Anson Mount (Black Bolt) and Iwan Rheon (Maximus), not to mention Serinda Swan, Ken Leung, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Ellen Woglom, Sonya Balmores and Mike Moh.

After the first two episodes roll out via select IMAX theaters on September 1st, Inhumans will then make the journey over to ABC, where it’ll join fellow Marvel drama Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Still no sign of an exact premiere date, but we know Marvel’s Royal Family will occupy a Friday night slot on ABC this fall.
