New Community Season 4 Trailer Promises New Episodes... Someday

Fans of NBC’s Community who were devastated by the fact that the show will not be premiering tonight (as originally promised) may find some solace in this new trailer for the comedy’s fourth season, which you can check out below. The ad cleverly comments on Community‘s troubled relationship with its own network, with characters Troy and Abed performing their pretend morning news show “Troy and Abed in the Morning!” and describing how “the powers that be” have decided to place their own fourth season premiere on October 19th, but have yet to decide where to put October 19th (hint: it’s not where you’d expect to find it).

Actors Donald Glover and Danny Pudi (Troy and Abed) are joined by the rest of the cast, which includes Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Chevy Chase, Ken Jeong, and Jim Rash. It’s comforting to see the whole cast together again (even if it’s only for one minute and thirty-seven seconds), though many die-hard fans still have reason to fret: in May, series creator, showrunner and executive producer Dan Harmon was fired by NBC. Not only that, but the (allegedly) upcoming, shortened season – now headed by David Guarascio and Moses Port – has been indefinitely delayed by NBC.

Short as it may be, this is our first look at the new, Harmon-less Community. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

I love this show! Can’t wait till October 19th, whenever it may be. I think this show could have been a hit if it were given the proper support from it’s network…come on NBC pull your head out of your ass!

NBC doesnt deserve a show like this… its too smart and funny, using the rest of their programs as a benchmark… its no wonder they cannot see the genius.
I mean how do writers mix invasion of the body snatchers with a glee xmas parity…. Its pure genius!! NBC sell the rights to this gfreat show so the few remaining viewers who actually watch your Channel can enjoy some of the best written TV in a decade.
