Go Behind The Scenes Of The Flash Season 3 Finale With This New Featurette

Although the third season of The Flash ultimately proved to be divisive amongst both fans and critics, I personally found it to be pretty enjoyable for the most part. And while its finale that aired last week wasn't the grand slam that Arrow served up, it was pretty memorable nonetheless. But now that it's all behind us, everyone is free to talk spoilers, the cast included.

In a newly released featurette, they do just that, starting with the series’ female lead, Candice Patton. Had you been following the Scarlet Speedster’s exploits for the past year, then you’re well aware of how Barry Allen made it his mission to prevent Patton’s character of Iris West from meeting an early demise at the hands of Savitar.

Despite being thrown for a loop at first (with a season 4 synopsis somewhat spoiling things before the finale had a chance to air), Team Flash succeeded at preserving the life of Barry’s lady love. Funnily enough, Patton really dug the role reversal that ended up playing out when she channeled her inner Paul Kersey by blowing away Savitar, effectively saving Barry’s life.

As for Tom Felton and Tom Cavanagh, they really seemed to dig the camaraderie that comes with being a part of Team Flash. Furthermore, we can’t help but wonder who will be named as series regulars for season 4 with H.R. Wells now being dead, Julian Albert now seemingly being permanent fixture at S.T.A.R. Labs, Killer Frost being in the wind and Gypsy continuously putting in more appearances (Jessica Camacho geeks out in the video as well). Suffice it to say, the next few months should be interesting when it comes to news pertaining to The Flash.
