Even though Jerome Valeska will make his triumphant return to Gotham in mere hours, it’s important we not forget how much the series will have to offer in the back half of season 4. Actually, we’re to expect a major collision course next week, one that we first learned of not long ago.
We are, of course, talking about the Riddler once again meeting up with the Penguin in the appropriately titled “A Dark Knight: Reunion.” To be fair, the title could take on dual meaning, but the pieces to the puzzle we’ve thus far been given really only hint at one of the city’s deadliest rivalries possibly being rekindled.
Speaking of which, the accompanying gallery serves as our latest exhibit. And though none of the images show the two villains in the same shot, it’s easy enough to put two and two together and figure out that Ed Nygma is visiting Oswald Cobblepot in Arkham Asylum. I mean, just look at the paint job on the walls!
In addition to that, it looks like Bruce Wayne is finally getting his life back on track, patching up things with Alfred and perhaps reclaiming the reins at his family’s company. After being quite the party boy for the past few months, it’ll be good to see him get back to embracing his destiny as Gotham’s protector.
