As you may have noticed, yesterday brought us a veritable bounty of images culled from the premiere episode, “A Dark Knight: Pax Penguina,” in addition to the first official group photo featuring the principal cast. Well, it appears that each actor stuck around for a few more minutes in order to pose for individual character portraits of their own.

In them, we see returning favorites such as Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), as well as newcomers Ra’s al Ghul (Alexander Siddig) and Sofia Falcone (Crystal Reed). Again conspicuous by his absence is actor Drew Powell, but when you consider that his character of Butch Gilzean will soon become Solomon Grundy, odds are that the network is waiting to have a grand reveal in a few weeks.

Getting back to the subject of Ra’s al Ghul, it looks like he’ll make his presence known in the appropriately titled, “A Dark Knight: The Demon’s Head,” which is set to air on October 12. Also of note is that Nathan Darrow is set to return as Mr. Freeze on that night, so there’s also that to look forward to.

For more, be sure to check out the official synopsis for said episode:

Bruce Wayne puts the lives of Gotham Natural History Museum historian Niles Winthrop (guest star Dakin Matthews) and his grandson, Alex (guest-star Benjamin Stockholm), in danger in an attempt to uncover the meaning behind his prized knife from the auction. Meanwhile, Ra’s Al Ghul (Alexander Siddig) proves he’ll take deadly measures to achieve what he wants. Also, with Sofia Falcone (Crystal Reed) in town, she is on a mission to win back Gotham from Penguin in the all-new “A Dark Knight: The Demon’s Head” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, Oct. 12 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-404) (TV-14 L, S, V)
