Fresh off a very impressive stint in the third and final season of Hannibal, Rutina Wesley has lined up a new gig in season four of Arrow. She’ll play Liza Warner, a character better known as Lady Cop in the comics. It’s highly doubtful that she’ll go by that moniker in the series, but as you can see from the image above, she’s certainly a…lady cop.

The behind the scenes photo was Tweeted out by star Paul Blackthorne (Captain Lance), and it’s previously been confirmed that the actress will be taking on the role of a member of the anti-vigilante task force in the recently rebranded Star City. In the comics, Lady Cop debuted in the 1970s and was basically just a female police offer who solved crimes.

Star City’s Police Department clearly won’t be happy with the return of Green Arrow if they’ve deemed it necessary to bring back this task force, so don’t expect Oliver and Lance’s relationship to have improved by the time the show returns.

After what many fans have called a disappointing third season of Arrow, the fourth is shaping up to be very exciting indeed, thanks to casting additions like Jimmy Akingbola as Baron Reiter, Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk, Alexander Calvert as Anarky, Echo Kellum as Mister Terrific, Falk Hentschel as Hawkman, and Casper Crump as Legend of Tomorrow‘s Vandal Savage.
