Keen to keep the momentum burning bright following last Sunday’s “Book of the Stranger,” HBO has rolled out the official synopses for Game of Thrones episodes 6.06 and 6.07.

Entitled “Blood of My Blood” and “The Broken Man,” respectively, each teaser essentially outlines which of the Westeros power players will be involved in the action, and there’s one figure that features prominently across both episodes: Jonathan Pryce’s scheming zealot, the High Sparrow.

First up, “Blood of My Blood” sees “an old foe comes back into the picture,” while the remainder of the all-too-brief logline reads as so: “Gilly (Hannah Murray) meets Sam’s (John Bradley) family. Arya (Maisie Williams) faces a difficult choice. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) faces off against the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce).”

As for “The Broken Man,” HBO’s story overview reads: “The High Sparrow eyes another target. Jaime confronts a hero. Arya makes a plan. The North is reminded.” Of all the potential plot points included in the enticing teasers, “the North is reminded” in particular piques our curiosity. Could Game of Thrones episode 6.07 tee up a battle between the army of White Walkers and the remnants of the Night’s Watch at Castle Black? We’ll find out soon.

In the meantime, Game of Thrones episode 5 – entitled “The Door” – is set to premiere via HBO on Sunday, May 22.
