Months of impatient waiting and speculation all culminated with the premiere of Game of Thrones season 6 this past Sunday.

Entitled “The Red Woman,” it’s fair to say that the latest batch of episodes in HBO’s political drama are off to a steady start, with Sunday’s premiere hopping between all of the main power players in Westeros, allowing fans to get up to speed with how things stand.

There’s no time to rest, though; episode 2 is already looming large on the horizon, and following up on this week’s tantalizing promo, HBO has rolled out half a dozen images for “Home,” featuring Isaac Hempstead Wright’s wayward Bran Stark – completely absent during Game of Thrones season 5 – while Owen Teale’s power-mongering Thorne looks set to tighten his grip on the Night’s Watch.

Per HBO:

“Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) trains with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow). In King’s Landing, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) advises Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman). Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) demands good news, but has to make his own. At Castle Black, the Night’s Watch stands behind Thorne (Owen Teale). Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) proposes a plan, and Balon Greyjoy (Patrick Malahide) entertains other proposals.”

HBO’s Game of Thrones season 6 marches on come Sunday. In the fallout from last week’s premiere, we speculated on which characters may be meeting their maker before the season’s end. Check it out and tell us if you agree.
